Energy Efficiency Consulting
Energy efficiency is widely recognized as the “first fuel” of a sustainable global energy system, representing the most cost-effective and environmentally responsible means of meeting our energy needs (IEA). With the building sector now required to obtain Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for their properties, it is essential to leverage the insights provided by these assessments to implement targeted energy efficiency initiatives. These initiatives not only reduce energy costs but also limit carbon emissions. At Oelinga, we have extensive experience in the field of energy efficiency and can assist you in developing and implementing a comprehensive energy efficiency strategy as part of an integrated approach to resource management.
01
Energy Audits
Energy auditing allows facility managers to get a view of the energy consumption drivers within a facility, and identify potential energy saving and energy efficient interventions that can be implemented to improve the facility.
02
Measurement and Verification
Establishing a reliable baseline of energy consumption is a critical first step in implementing energy-efficient interventions. This allows us to accurately quantify the energy savings achieved through these initiatives. Measurement and Verification (M&V) provides an essential independent assurance function, mitigating the risks associated with engaging EsCo contractors and ensuring the highest level of transparency and accuracy in savings reporting.
